As President and later Advisor of Triton Robotics at UC San Diego, I scaled the team from 20 to 80+ members and grew the proportion of non-male members from 15% to over 35%, through formalized onboarding, DEI partnerships, and targeted recruiting (including outreach at the UCSD Women’s Center).
I led 17 team leads with OKRs, roadmaps, and stand-ups, founded the Business, Marketing, and Project Development teams, and secured nationally recognized nonprofit status, $3K in initial funding, a corporate sponsorship pipeline, and permanent lab space.
